I'm not much of a hat wearer. I actually struggled to find pictures of myself in a hat to post here (besides the new one).

One of the main reasons for this is because I don't like wearing my hair down, and I don't find that hair up goes well with hats. As I mentioned in my last post, I decided that I really needed a hat, so I just went out and got one. No one else was there when I chose it, (except for Zoey, who actually cried when I put it on) and I just bought it then and there. (Since wearing the hat at home, Zoey actually smiles and likes it, so that's a relief.)
I wasn't sure what I would think about it or if I would even wear it, but I've gone balls to the wall and worn it a bunch. I'm committed.

I'll have to take some more pictures with various hairstyles. I still am not sure how the whole "go inside, take off hat and hair still looks okay" part will go. I'll get back to you on that.

In the summer I wear a sports-ball cap quite a bit. There is nothing I hate more than head-sunburn and since my hair is fine and fair, hat is a must when I'm outside all day. Other than that, I have some winter hats - but no fun hats. Think part of that is because I can't wear hats to school - and when I'm at school I am supposed to tell kids not to wear hats....
Love the hat! Like you, I tend to wear my hair up most of the time and I find that doesn't work well with hats. I really like them, but I just don't wear them that much unless they are for sporty type activities!
I LOVE your new hat!! I must get one!! I wear baseball caps when running but only because I hate having my hair in my face and headbands always slip off. Other than that I rarely wear them. I'm the opposite- I hate wearing my hair pull backed- I think my face looks better framed by hair and I figure if I'm doing my hair why hide it and ruin it under a hat? I think girls are exempt from having to remove their hate inside... no one wants to see my hat head!
I bet the hat would look good with a low side ponytail or braid.
