So much going on...

I don't have too much time, but I'll give y'all a quick update on the interview since I know you're all a-tingle with anticipatory delight.

There were at least 20 people there, one guy and the rest girls. There were about 6 or 7 interviewers, two being flight attendants themselves, a few recruiters, and some other people who are important. It started out with introductions and a bit about WestJet, then we split into groups and did a whole bunch of group activities, meanwhile they pulled each one of us out to do a quick one on one interview. The woman who interviewed me was SUPER nice and made it really easy to be relaxed and not feel all anxious. Then we came back into the big group and the flight attendants told us more about the actualy position and how things work.

I think I did well. I smiled lots, made eye contact, listened to what the other people had to say, said enough for myself, and hopefully I was fabulous enough to impress them. It's really hard to say whether I "out shone" everyone else. I also had to write them an e-mail today to tell them why I want the position again. So I did that, hopefully impressed them. I tried to take things that we learned yesterday and incorporate them into what I said.

The job sounds SO appealing, and I really really really hope I get it. I think I'll be pretty disappointed if I don't get it, just because I feel like I'd be really good at it, and it would be something fun and exciting and new. Although, they told us that they get 1800-2000 applications per week, so the fact that I got invited to an interview does say a lot.

I think it will be up to three weeks before I hear anything, so I'll be anxiously awaiting the result. I'm pretty sure they send out an e-mail, and then they phone later to invite us to a training sessions. (They are 4 weeks long, and the next one starts April 24th, three days after my last exam).

So we shall see. We shall see.
